Description | Bromley-By-Bow Underground station, Metropolitan & District lines (now District, Hammersmith & City lines). Exterior view of the building which was opened by British Rails Eastern Region in 1972 after a serious fire caused extensive damage to the main entrance of the original building on 20 February 1970. A London Transport roundel and maps are displayed on the exterior of the station. Through the metal framed doors in the ticket hall are shop premises. |
