Westbound platform, Ealing Common station, looking towards the east. A number of people are standing under the concrete canopy; this view also shows a shuttered W H Smith kiosk (immediate right foreground), the recessed waiting area, where a woman is sitting on the bench, and the tobacconist's shop (partly obscured by a member of staff), midground centre. Bauhaus lights are suspended from the underside of the canopy. Note the illuminated WAY OUT sign, with four-flighted arrow. A signal cabin or sub-station stands at the far end of the platform.
