Description
Rear view of P1-type trolleybus reg no GGP708 (fleet no 1708); this type had a Leyland chassis and MCW body, and entered into service on 11 January 1941. Photographed at Fulwell depot; the vehicle is passing over some old tram tracks which have apparently been filled in with cement. The trolleybus poles on the left still have their wartime white painted 'blackout' rings
