View down platforms at Hainault station. The island platform on the left has a semi-circular waiting room, the end of which can just be seen, and a row of concrete roundel/twin lighting units; a train of Pre-1938-tube stock occupies part of the outer face of the platform. The single platform on the right has the original Great Eastern Railway (GER) canopy, and brick buildings. Hainault depot can be seen in midground, to the left of the island platform, together with some of the approach tracks. A cable bridge spans the centre pair of running tracks in the distance.
