Description | Exterior of Earl's Court Underground station, Earls Court Road entrance, District and Piccadilly line. The station facade and adjoining shop premises were designed by Harry Ford in liaison with Leslie Green. Faced with glazed blocks, decorative balustrading runs around the upper level of the building. 'Arts and Crafts' style lettering displays the station name and line signage above arched windows. Bronze-framed poster panels with overhead swan necked light fittings display posters and a tube map either side of the entrance. |
