Description | Interior of M-stock motor car no 4393, in service on the Hammersmith & City line. The twin metal handles on the passenger entrance doors on the left can clearly be seen. Note also the longitudinal seating, the leather handgrabs, and the lights with Tiffany shades. In front of the door at the end of the car you can just make out the horizontal bar marked 'PRIVATE' which prevents passengers entering the end vestibule when this area is in use by the guard. |
