Description | Exterior view of Swiss Cottage Underground station, Metropolitan line. Surface buildings incorporate an arcade of shops, the 'Station Arcade'. View shows the Belsize Road entrance. The station was rebuilt by the Metropolitan Railway architect Charles W Clark, 1929. A single storey facade of cream faence contains a square cut entrance way that leading to a stairwell entrance giving access to the booking office and platforms. A steel and glass canopy displays the station name and railway company in stencils. |
