Description
Evening rush-hour traffic in the Strand, looking east towards St Mary-le-Strand church. Most of the vehicles are either private cars or taxis; a RTL-type bus, registration no KXW34 (RTL684) can be seen, midground right, on route 196 to Waterloo. Eastbound traffic is turning left into the Aldwych, as part of a one-way scheme. The clock on the building (foreground left) gives the time as 5.40 (pm)
