Description | Air raid damage at closed Lord's station (formerly St Johns Wood Road), Metropolitan line. View of the stairways leading to the platforms, which appear to have sustained only minor damage; some debris is scattered over the floor, much of it from the roof. Although the station had been closed since November 1939, it can be seen that the direction signs and advertisements are still in place. |
