Description | Air raid damage at Camden Town station. This view shows the Camden High Street facade. It can be seen that one complete bay on the left has been destroyed, and that serious damage has also been caused to the windows, canopy and pole-mounted roundel. Two signs on the ground floor advise passengers that the station is closed. The adjacent building has also been damaged. Piles of rubble litter the pavements. Small groups of spectators and workmen can be seen, looking at the damage. |
