This shot taken inside a railway shed at Golders Green features the end part of inspection pit. There is no track as yet set into the section showed but installation work is in progress, there are lengths of track along the side of the pit area, short metal rods protruding from pit floor marking positioning for track. Part of the glass and metal girder roof structure can be seen above.
