    Cyril A Wilkinson was born in 1893 and died in 1926.
    The posters he designed for London Transport are typical examples of his work. Ships and industrial scenes were popular themes. He worked in pastel, charcoal and also used block printing.

    The style of his signature enables his work to be easily identified. Examples of his work are in the Witt library at the Courtauld Institute.
