  Biography	This is believed to be Alfred Reginald Thompson. Thompson was born in India, and educated at the London Art School. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1920, and was elected an RA in 1945. He designed murals for the Science Museum and the Birmingham Dental Hospital. He also painted royal and official portraits. Thompson's work can be found in the Tate Gallery. Records suggest that he was a member of Chelsea Arts Club.
