    Ronald Glendening was born in London in 1926. He lectured part-time at Bromley, Camberwell and Croydon Colleges of Art. and exhibited at the Royal Academy, Redfern and Pilkington Galleries amongst others. He designed brochures and press advertisements for Shell and ICI, and a poster for Guiness. He designed book covers for Penguin, Jonathan Cape, Harper-Collins and many others. He contributed a fortnightly strip-cartoon for the Evening Standard and a series of animated graphics for London Weekend Television.
