    Biography
    Anthony Gilbert was a designer, painter and magazine illustrator who contributed to 'Vogue'and 'Lilliput' in 1943 and 1944. Many of his designs such as the "After Eight" mint boxes are unacknowledged. He was a member of the Societey of Industrial Artists and worked on murals for the Festival of Britain. In 1996 a memorial show was held at David Messum's Fine Art.
