    Biography
    Albert Halliell studied at Southport School of Art from 1923 to 1926, and then at the Royal College of Art until 1926. He designed posters for the Southern Railway and several airport authorities. In the late 1930s he taught part-time at Bromley and Beckenham Schools of Art and in 1938 he was appointed to a full-time post at Camberwell. In 1948 he took up a post at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and remained there until 1970.
