    Biography
    Wilfrid Wood was a water-colourist, lithographer and poster designer. Born in Manchester, he studied at Manchester School of Art, at the Central School of Arts And Crafts, and at the Slade.

    Wood travelled widely, but is particularly remembered for architectural subjects and street scenes of many English towns. He exhibited at the Royal Academy.

    During the 1920s he lived in Hampstead, London, but moved to Stamford in Lincolnshire in 1937.
