  Biography	Harry Stevens was born in Manchester. He studied privately and became a freelance designer. No formal training in art, he started out in the display and exhibition trade. He joined the Society of Industrial Artists in 1955 and was elected Fellow ten years later. Stevens was winner of the Council of Industrial Design Poster Award in 1963. He was a member of the Society of Modern Painters. He has specialised in poster design for a wide variety of clients and agencies.
