    Anthony Rossiter studied at Chelsea Polytechnic 1947-1951.

    His first important commission was for two posters for London Transport. In 1959 he had his first solo exhibition at the Galerie de Seine in Paris, and was elected a member of The Society of Industrial Artists in 1962. In 1964 he had a large exhibition at Frost and Reed's in Bristol.

    From 1960 until 1983 he was a lecturer at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.

    His autobiography was published by Gollancz in 1966, and in 1969 the Lincolnshire Association held a retrospective exhibition of his work. He is a writer and painter.

    Among the museums and galleries which hold his work are the Victoria And Albert Museum, Smithsonian Institute, and the Ashmolean Museum. (Riddell 1994)
