    Biography
    Stanislaus S Longley was predominantly a watercolour painter. He served as a camouflage officer during WWII. He exhibited at the Fine Art Society as well as Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Institute of painters in Water Colours and the Paris Salon. Longley also designed covers for Vogue and a number of posters for London Underground

    He studied at the Regent Street Polytechnic and became a decorative figure work artist and landscape painter mainly in watercolours. He also designed covers for Vogue. During the war he was a camoflage officer. He exhibted at the Fine Art Society and took part in the Recording Britain series.
