Biography
Attribute Value Biography Robert Gibbings was born in Cork, Ireland, where he briefly attended medical school. From 1912, he studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, then attended Noel Rooke's classes in wood engraving, a controversial part of the book illustration course at the Central School of Arts and Crafts.
