Biography
Attribute Value Biography Born in Bury St Edmunds, her first art training was on John Hassall's Correspondence Course in 1918. She later attended Heatherley's School of Fine Art and the New Grosvenor School of Modern Art in London.
At the Grosvenor she met Claude Flight who taught lino-cutting, and this became her favourite medium. She shared a studio with Cyril Power, another member of Flight's circle; all of them worked in an avant-garde, Futurist style. Her posters for London Transport, were given the joint signature `Andrew Power'.
She moved to Hampshire in the late 1930s and emigrated to British Columbia, Canada, after the war. (Green 1990)

Her posters for London Transport, all dating from 1933, were given the joint signature `Andrew Power'.
