Description
This is a geographic style railway map on paper, issued by the District Railway. The map shows the geographic features of the central London area with the District Railway and Metropolitan Railway overprinted with bold red lines, other railway lines are overprinted with black shaded lines. Where two companies run trains over the same line, two lines are printed. Railway company names are not printed alongside the lines which they operate, instead there is a reference key, stations are marked with squares and their names are printed in red. Extensions are shown on the District Railway as a broken red line.
