Description | This geographic paper edition of the Underground map shows the Railway lines belonging to the Underground Group as well as the Central London Railway and Metropolitan Railway lines. Each line is represented by a different colour, other railways are marked with lighter black lines, London United tramways are shown by lines of crosses and other tramways routes are marked with a broken line. General geographic features such as roads and parks are also included. The map does not show any lines under construction and lines which are served by two railways use the colours of both lines. Several Stations have name changes, Euston Road is renamed Warren Street, Tottenham Court Road is now Goodge Street and Oxford Street has become Tottenham Court Road. Earl's Court Exhibition Ground is marked on this map as well as the Exhibition Ground at Shepherd's Bush, Wood Lane Station has the suffix 'Exhibition Stn.'. The map has a green border with the title London UndergrounD Railways. The reverse is blank. |
