Description | This pocket trolleybus and tram map issued by London Transport shows the extent of the network in London in 1947. Diagrammatic in style, it still includes the green spaces dotted around the City and an angular representation of the River Thames. The conversion of the tram routes for trolleybuses was halted during the Second World War. However, all the north London routes, except those operating through the Kingsway subway, had already been converted. |
