Description
Signals are essential for managing the flow of traffic on busy roads and at complicated junctions. Manufactured by the General Electric Co Ltd (GEC) this lantern assembly includes directional arrows and a pedestrian crossing light box. The world's first traffic light was gas powered and installed near the Houses of Parliament on 9 December 1868.
