Signal; two-aspect tram signal from the Kingsway tram subway, c1935

Two aspect signal from the Kingsway tram subwau. This signal is made up from two cast iron lamp assemblies mounted one above the other on simple brackets made from steel strip. Steel electrical conduit links both to protect the lighting supply cables and was fed from conduit (cut through at time of removal) above the assembly. Each luminaire has two bulb holders in the upper part of the lamp and a hinged front bezel to hold the lens (missing). The reflector is white enamel.
