Description | Two-aspect signal; cast iron body, painted silver /aluminium, with hinged door to rear allowing access to electrical fittings and equipment. Two glass lenses, green and red, with repeater lenses to side, sheet metal hoods and surrounded by a black painted sheet metal plate. Enamel identification number plate reading "LUX 686" to front. Salvaged from the re-signalling of the Debden - Theydon Bois - Epping section of the Central line in July 1996. It has a bolted socket on its base to allow fitting to post which hs been removed but retained. |
