Description | Earth continuity detectors were fitted to electrical apparatus that passengers would come into contact with. Typically a bank of ticket machines would be earthed through one of these units which fed a small current through the earth circuit to "prove" that it was continuous. Fitted by LT engineers in 1979 to ticket machines in original LT Museum entrance area. |
