The number of trailer cars in the same period is (27), making a total of (222). The total cost of the London County Council tramways system was (£14.5M). Capital repaid out of tramways revenue is (£6M). The amount paid last year for interest and redemption of dept was (£600K). When the balance has been paid off, Londoners will own the finest tramway in the world, and dept charges will be (NIL)
