A colour illustrated Christmas card with a number of characters getting onto a Metropolitan train at Aldgate station. On the reverse is an illustration of a bunch of flowers, a comic poem and a handwritten message "To dear Alice with love from Edith P"

    Reverse: In with you sharp - we've got no time to lose; "Punch" "Fun" and Judy "Graphic" "London Noos"; Here's third: jump in - I can't there's such a crowd; Excuse me Sir, but smoking ain't allowed; Mere I say, porter! isn't one in sight!; Would you oblige me kindly with a light?; Young man, you're treading on this Party's toes; A whistle -tug -and bump! and off she goes.
