We just love the Stories section on our new website, and we know you will too! In this section of our Collections online you can read fascinating facts about London’s transport history and learn about the inspiring stories of the people who have kept the city moving, from the 1800s to present day. Sit down with a cup of tea, pick your favourite category between Design, Transport, People, Engineering and War, and discover 200 years of London’s history.  

2. Explore an abandoned Underground station… from your couch

Join our expert guides on Zoom for one of our virtual Hidden London tours. These digital tours are a great way to experience secret and abandoned spaces in London from the comfort of your own home. Discover King William Street, Brompton Road and our new tour of Holborn (Kingsway) through exclusive photographs, archival material and never-before-seen footage.

3. Watch Hidden London Hangouts on YouTube

If our virtual tours ignite your curiosity about the secrets of the Underground, head over to our YouTube channel for our Hidden London Hangouts. Join Chris, Laura and Siddy from our Hidden London team, plus self-confessed Tube nerd Alex Grundon, to discuss all things London. New episodes premiere every Saturday on YouTube at 18:00. Subscribe to our channel to catch up on all previous episodes and never miss new ones.

4. Entertain your little ones with fun activities to do at home

We’ve got lots of fun activities to download and do at home for our younger transport fans. From word games to board games, colouring in sheets and templates to make your own double decker bus or Tube train, there’s plenty for all the family to get stuck in. And if you’re missing our singing and storytime sessions, take a look at these lovely videos on our YouTube channel.

5. Test your knowledge with a fun transport quiz
