Friday Lates

Explore the museum after hours at one of our Friday Late events. We keep the doors open until 10pm, and often give you a sneak peak of our newest exhibition. With music, bars, hot food, talks, quizzes, and craft activities, the Friday Late is great way to discover the Museum.

Please note that our Friday Lates are adult events suitable for those over 18 years old.

Celebrate the softer side of transport at our next Friday Late. Drawing inspiration from our current exhibition Designology, we’re focusing on the fabric that makes up our City.

Listen as Jenna Rossi-Camus, Fashion Curator, guides you through fashion satires from 18th century to today relating to transport. Join Annalisa Atkinson, from Central Saint Martins, to hear about the process of designing with London’s iconic fabric, moquette, then create your own patterned pocket square. Dress for the City and make a bespoke bow or bow tie using fabrics that represent London’s boroughs. Have your portrait hand drawn by Fashion Illustrator, Willa Gebbie in her beautiful, ethereal style.

Enjoy all the above and more, alongside exploring our vintage vehicles, workshops, exhibitions, cocktails, themed quiz and music.
