Canteen hire information

Situated at the front of the Museum, Canteen has fantastic views over Covent Garden piazza and flooded with daylight.

Canteen features decommissioned furniture from the London Underground network and highlights from the Museum’s unique vintage poster collection.

It’s the perfect standalone space for informal gatherings, small cocktail receptions and networking events or as an addition to a Cubic Theatre booking.

Standard hire details

Standing capacity : 60
Seated capacity : 50

Morning hire: guest arrival from 07:30 until 09:30
Evening hire: guest arrival from 18:00, with license available until 01:00

    The Museum is available to be hired before opening to the public at 10:00 and from 18:30 after closing. We do not offer daytime hire.

    Please note that maximum standing capacity is 400 guests, dining capacity is 150 guests and theatre style seating is 200 guests.
