Description | This bicycle was bought from F.W.Evans of Kennington Road, SE1 in 1929. The cycle remains in full working order, the only changes from the original are a change of handlebars from drop to upright at an unknown date, and installation of a dynamo powered light.This bicycle belonged to Mr W. F. Wagstaffe, a General Post Office telephone engineer and it has covered tens of thousands of miles during its long life. Mr Wagstaffe regularly used it until 2002, when, at the age of 93, he decided to hang up his cycle clips for good. |
