Description
Embroidered shield-shaped cloth badge for the London Transport Metropolitan Railway Athletics Association. Shows Metropolitan Railway device - shield divided quarterly with St George's cross & small sword(?) or fleur de lis in top left, 3 gold sabres on red ground in top right, silver swan with crown on red and black vertically divided field in lower left, and gold stag on white & green horizontally divided field in lower right. Banner at bottom reads "(L.t.) M.R.A.A." Field divisions and border couched in metallic gold thread. The whole applied to black felt backing. Contained within small plastic bag.
