Description	Dark navy felt cap with a plastic peak and plastic mock chin strap. The cap has blue piping around the crown and is lined with a soft leather head band and a thin plastic fabric under the crown (possibly to waterproof the cap). The manufacturer's label and stamp are still intact. This style of cap was issued between c1940s-1968 and was also issued to tram and trolleybus staff. Seen with badge fitted, as of 17/2/1995 - badge removed 20/7/1995. Curators comment, Fay Newman, Curator, 2000.
