Description
The Transport Salaried Staffs Association (T.S.S.A.) is an independent, UK-based trade union for the transport and travel trade industries. This lapel badge features the T.S.S.A. logo and has the incription 'T.S.S.A. the union for people in transport and travel'. Formed in 1897, it was originally known as the National Association of General Railway Clerks. In 1951, following changes in the industry after the war, the name was changed. All union members are issued with this badge and it is worn as a part of staff uniform.
