Description | The poster features a black text arranged in a diamond shape on a plain white background. This text lists key dates and events that have occured between the introduction of the Johnston typeface (1916) and the creation of the poster (2016). This is overlaid with a code, made up of numbers and symbols, written in larger blue text, detailing how much time has passed since the creation on the Johnston typeface. The key for the code is listed at the bottom of the poster in black. Finally, overlaid over each of these is the number '100' in a larger, red text. This poster was one of a series commissioned to commemorate 100 years of the Johnston typeface. |
