Item content Attribute Value Object title Underground update no. 4, for the safety of our customers we've introduced, flatter, squarer tubesText For the safety of our customers we've introduced flatter, squarer tubes. Underground Update 4. At our busy central London Tube stations, and at some in the suburbs too, closed circuit TV (CCTV) is constantly in operation, helping everyone enjoy a safer journey. In fact at stations like Piccadilly Circus we can see you wherever you are, on platforms, in ticket halls, on escalators, and in passageways. As long as the Tube is running the CCTV monitors are being watched, not only at stations but also at our police Control Room at St. James's Park too. Here cameras on the system can be monitored and radio communication with all stations means that incidents can be quickly acted upon. You can't beat the Tube. -
