| Description | The modernisation of Marble Arch station was carried out between 1983 and 1986. The platform walls were covered with 17 large projecting multi-coloured panels designed by Annabel Grey. These featured hand-painted compositions featuring Italianate arches, as shown here. Earlier proposals for designs featuring Speaker's Corner were rejected. |
