Description | Sloane Square Underground station, District line platform showing, immediately above the photographer, the 9-ft diameter iron conduit which carries the West Bourne stream/Ranelagh sewer over the tracks and platforms. A number of people are waiting on the eastbound platform (opposite) where the foot of the escalator from the booking hall, and an illuminated direction sign with two-flighted Mexican arrow, can also be seen. |
