Description
Lower Regent Street, at the junction with Piccadilly Circus, with several lines of traffic being held back by two policemen whilst pedestrians cross the road. In the background, the Duke of York's column dominates the view; one of the subway entrances to Piccadilly Circus Underground station can just be seen, foreground left. A number of open dock and covered buses are visible, operating on routes 159A, 59, 12A and 15A
