Description | Northfields Underground station, reconstruction work in progress. View looks South-west towards Northfileds Avenue Bridge. A strip of land has been cleared (for new Piccadilly Westbound track) running parallel to the District rail lines. The rear of Northfileds and Little Ealing Underground station, (resited and renamed Northfields Jan 1933) stands mid/ground left. The concrete foundations of a retaining wall are under construction foreground centre and background right. A rail mounted crane stands in the mid/ground, surrounded by debris and building timbers. |
