Description | Unique remote control signal installation at Harrow-on-the-Hill station. This has a unique remote installation where a signalman can operate the levers in a 40-lever locking frame in one of the three boxes, north, south or at the station and the levers in the other boxes move in unison. This is the first of its kind in Britain. The picture shows the interior of the new station signal cabin. |
