Description
Traffic scene, western entrance to the Strand, with a long line of traffic turning out of Trafalgar Square. Several open-top buses can be seen, including, midground left, LGOC K-type Reg no LU8240 (K17) on route 3 to Crystal Palace; immediately in front is a Thomas Tilling vehicle on route 59 to Reigate, whilst just behind, and running parallel to it, is a Pembroke Coaches bus en route to Coulsdon. The top decks of all the buses appear to be full. One lone woman pedestrian is walking along the road
