London Transport Museum brings Year of Engineering to life throughout 2018

  • Digging Deeper will explore tunnelling innovations and history from Brunel to Crossrail - opening 16 March 2018
  • An exhibition about the Elizabeth line, Europe’s biggest infrastructure and engineering project – opening 16 March 2018
  • The Future Engineers gallery will be an interactive hands-on space for 7 to 11 year olds and their parents. The exhibition will highlight the creativity, social value and diverse range of jobs available in engineering and invite visitors to solve engineering challenges. The highlight of the gallery will be a new train driving experience - opening 13 July 2018

  • Summer of Engineering family fun programme
    Learn about engineering throughout the 2018 summer holidays. Our award-winning team will deliver a range of hands-on activities which will get children exploring key STEM subjects and key engineering concepts
  • Acton Open Weekends - September 2018
  • Crossrail tunnel tours - the public will have a chance to see inside some of the Crossrail tunnels before they are brought into operation as the new Elizabeth Line.
