Event information

Weave your way into the far reaches of the city using a maze of railway tunnels as you follow the ‘Underground Mouse’, soar gracefully over London’s iconic landmarks with ‘Kayla the Kestrel’, or adventure across the Atlantic Ocean for a taste of the Caribbean with the ‘Canteen Queen’.

Under 5s Singing, Stories and Crafts Sessions feature 15 minutes of craft and 30 minutes of interactive singing and storytelling.

Our stories have been written, produced and are delivered by creative, educational organisation Artburst, especially for families with children aged under five years old.

Get ready to sing along: here are two of the songs we’ll be enjoying!

How to take part

London Transport Museum’s Under 5’s Singing, Stories and Crafts Sessions are free with Museum admission. You can book your tickets to visit the Museum below.

Sessions happen at 10:30, 11:30, 13:20 and 14:20 inside the Transportorium at London Transport Museum (Covent Garden) and last for approximately 45 minutes.

On Friday 22 and Friday 29 March this session will consist of singing and stories only, without the craft element, and will last for 30 minutes instead of the usual 45 minutes. This is due to the Institute of Civil Engineering’s temporary exhibition Time is Running Out in the Transportorium Garden.

Sessions take place in an enclosed area, meaning that there is a limit on capacity. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance booking is not available.

Finding the Transportorium

The Transportorium is on the ground floor of the Museum, next to the black Taxi Cab and red Half-Bus (near the Legacies exhibition).
