What's on

Family trails

Follow our Go Green Family trails - for visitors of all ages.

Children under 5 can explore the Depot, spotting collection items with different shades of green, or a trail for older children will lead them through the collection to discover the impact of London’s transport history on our environment.

Make and take activities

Our popular and creative family mezzanine activity space is back! Drop in throughout the day, between 10.30 and 15.30, to take part in a hands-on imaginative activity inspired by London’s nature and wildlife.

Storytelling

Storytelling for those aged 7 and under has also returned.

Every day at 10.45, 11.45, 13.15 and 14.15 you can settle down in our lecture theatre and join in an interactive family storytelling to meet an adventurous bird on their journey around London, where they meet lots of other city wildlife.

Miniature Railway

Hop aboard the London Transport Miniature Railway, open on all days. Tickets are £1 per person or £5 per carriage, or you can purchase a ‘miniature Oyster’ for £9, valid for 10 rides.

Please note that tickets for the Miniature Railway are not included in the event ticket price; they are sold separately on the day of the visit via contactless payment.

Taxi display

Find out more about London taxis through the ages at our vehicle display out the back. From the latest ZEC model on London’s streets to vintage taxis from the past, courtesy of our friends at LEVC and The London Vintage Taxi Association.
