Visiting the Museum in Covent Garden

  • How do I book a ticket to visit the Museum?

Our tickets are annual passes, which entitle you to visit the Museum as many times as you like throughout the next 12 months.

You also need a timed entry slot to visit. You can book these for free if you have an annual pass active on your account.

Your pass will be active from the date you purchase it, and be valid for a year. Please note: if you purchase an Off Peak pass, you can only visit the Museum from 2pm onwards during term time.

Find out more about our Annual pass types and book them here: https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/visit/tickets

  • Why do I need an Annual Pass to visit the Museum?

You need an Annual Pass to visit the Museum.

We don’t sell day tickets because of the way we collect Gift Aid.  As a charity, this is important to us, as it allows us to continue to deliver our educational and charitable objectives.

We offer three kinds of Annual Passes:

    • Unlimited Annual Pass
      • Unlimited daytime entry to the Museum in Covent Garden for an entire year. Adults £24 / Concessions £23 / Local Resident  £18 / Universal Credit £1
    • Off Peak Annual Pass
      • Access to the Museum on weekdays after 2pm in term-time and summer holidays for £22
    • Annual Pass Plus
      • Unlimited access to the Museum and our Depot Open Days for you and up to two children for £70
  • Do I need to book a timed ticket?

We recommend you also book timed entry tickets, especially at busy times. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available on an hourly basis, but we can’t guarantee availability.

You can book timed tickets on our Bookings website: please log in to your annual pass account to see time slot tickets for annual pass holders.

Timed entry tickets are available on an hourly basis. Please arrive for your timed entry slot at any time from the hour stated on your ticket.

  • Do I need to book tickets for children?

Please book free Child entry tickets at the same time that you purchase your timed entry slots. This allows us to keep track of capacity.

    Kids go free.

Children aged 12 years and over can enter the Museum on their own and can book a timed ticket to visit online. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • I already have an annual pass: how do I visit the Museum?

Please log in to your annual pass account on our Bookings website with your passholder ID number and email address which you purchased the tickets with.

If you purchased before November 2022 and your annual pass email was from [email protected], your annual passholder ID number is your CRM ID as found on your annual pass confirmation email.

If you purchased between November and March 2023 via Eventbrite, your annual passholder ID is your EventBrite order number.

  • I bought an annual pass on your old system / Eventbrite, is it still valid?

Yes, your ticket/annual pass is still valid. Please follow the instructions to log in from the question above on how to log in.

Please get in touch with our Bookings team if you need to make any changes to your annual pass, booking or have any issues logging in to your account.

  • How do I book a group visit to the Museum?
